Welcome !!

Hello friends, It has been some time since I have posted a new Blog on our travels. It comes down to what one can do with all the pictures one takes over the course of travels. Some may or may not be interesting to everyone, but, in the case of Colombia, not too many people, that I know have had, the opportunity to see this beautiful Latin American country, as I have over the past 20 years of travel here.

Nada and I are very fortunate too have seen much of this country, primarily due to daughter Lorelle, Son-In-Law Fernando and the numerous activities they have included us in. This trip had a very specific objective. The Celebration of 3 Grandkids birthdays, Nicholas' 20 years, David's 18th, and Suzy's 15th birthdays. Additionally the Senior high school graduation from CNG of Grandson David and then a general catch up on family fellowship.  The first birthday is Nicholas.

This is Nicholas. He is currently studying business at a University in Bogota. Nico graduated last Spring From Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana. He recently was very active in establishing [4] four [A fifth was awarded in the final accounting] Summer Camp fully funded tuition scholarships, to participants from under-privileged families in Bogota, to attend the 2014 Summer Camp in Culver, Indiana and for three consecutive summer sessions. This required meeting with Colombian business leaders and persons willing to donate for this cause. This resulted in collecting $200.000 USD for these students!
He was acknowledged my Culver Academy recently by Culver Academy Representatives visiting Bogota.
